Free Printable: 2017 Calendex

Happy New Years!!

Hope everyone had an amazing new years with loved ones. I spent much needed time at home with family relaxing and setting up my 2017 Bullet Journal. I have a very exciting blog post coming up on how I bring my bullet journal all together. Today I wanted to share what I feel is one of the most important inserts in my bullet journal, the Calendex. When I saw Eddy Hope's Calendex system on pinterest I fell in love and I knew I needed it in my life!

If you want to learn more about the Calendex and how to use it in your bullet journal I recommend you checkout Eddy's blog post over in the Bullet Journal Blog.

In simplest terms, The Calendex is a hybird between the index and a calendar. The way this works is very simple. When you make a new appointment in your planner you index the page on your Calendex with the appropriate color if you choose to colorcode. This system works wonders for me because I can easily refer to my Calendex without having to go thru my entire planner especially when I'm in a rush.

I'm pretty new to the Calendex so for the following month I'll be trying it with you and let you know what worked and what didnt. So be in the watch out for the updated blog.

For Printing I recommend Hammermill 32lb 100 Bright, I've been using this paper for years and it's my favorite paper for printing inserts. It's very bright, smooth and premium, I have no problem with bleed with this type of paper.

My favorite pens for planning are the Staedtler Triplus Fineliner Pens

I know I share a lot of printables and if you are a printer snob like me but want to still save money on printing (even in full color) Check out my blog post How I Save Money on Printing
